Kane County’s lack of any previous games makes it hard to judge their talent but their quarterback competition has two excellent candidates but Haven Mosley looks to have the job over former Notre Dame Quarterback, Demetrius Jones. Timothy Jarvis didn’t get a chance to show the Blue Racers how hard the Army hits but he will surely show Erie QB Aaron Smetanka how hard he has trained in not only playing football but in protecting this country.

Erie’s Smetanka has been good on the ground and through the air. He leads running back, Alfonso Hoggard in yards rushing and has over 200 yards through the air. He had two interceptions last week but hadn’t thrown an interception in his previous game. Kwaheem Smith may have locked up the defensive player of the year already. He has the second most touchdowns on the team with four; Alfonso Hoggard leads the team with five. He also has four interceptions only one of which he hasn’t brought back to the house.  The Erie defense may not be as stout as Dayton’s but they have scored off of every turnover but two.

The game starts at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 3rd in the newly renovated Erie Insurance Arena in downtown Erie, PA. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Erie Insurance Arena box office or at http://www.erieevents.com.

Also, the game will be broadcast LIVE right here on The Mid State Sports Network at www.midstatesports.net.
