Erie, PA – The stars and stripes will be flying high in the Erie Insurance Arena on Sunday, March 10. Kick off will be at 2 p.m. between the Explosion and the Marion Blue Racers. This is a rematch of a week two battle in Marion that came down to the wire in a nail biting win for the Explosion, 42-40.

The Salute to our Veterans starts at pre-game with an Air Force induction ceremony with Sgt. Robert Martin and the United States Air Force Color Guard.

The Veterans Center Band will be playing in the Concourse of the Arena as fans section in to their seats.

The homage to America will be honored by Mary Lanphere as she will sing the National Anthem. Threaded throughout the game will be an ode to the solders in attendance and across the nation as Explosion players show their admiration and appreciation on the Jumbo-tron.

Halftime will include the unveiling of an American flag covering nearly the entire field as we salute all members of the service. The Concourses will also have members of the military stationed at tables that will honor and benefit those in the service. Care package outposts, The Veterans Center and an Air Force Recruitment station will all be apart of Veterans Night.

You can get tickets at the Explosion front office at 901 Peach St. or at the Box office at the Arena. Come on out to the Erie Insurance Arena on Sunday, March 10 to cheer for the Explosion and to salute our Veterans.

In addition, the game will be broadcast by The Mid State Sports Network beginning at 1:45pm, with The Voice of the Explosion… Sam Jordan.
