LEWISBURG, PA – With heavy rain in the forecast, the Bucknell softball and baseball teams have adjusted the schedule for their weekend series. Bison softball will now play Holy Cross Friday at 2 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. at Becker Field. Friday’s action will be broadcast live on WVBU 90.5 FM and at SportsJuice.com, while Senior Day festivities will remain on Saturday prior to the final home doubleheader of the season. Baseball is now scheduled to play at Army tentatively at 2 p.m. on Friday and noon on Saturday.

Prior to Saturday’s softball games, Meredith Dickson (Fogelsville, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) will be recognized as Bucknell’s lone senior. Also included in the pregame activities is the official dedication of the field’s scoreboard and recognition of Susquehanna Trailways for its contributions to the softball program.

Bucknell baseball makes the trip to West Point, N.Y., with a 19-20 record overall and a 6-6 mark in the Patriot League. The Bison will try to play spoiler to Army’s perfect conference record as the Black Knights enter the weekend at 29-9 overall and 12-0 in the conference.

Bucknell softball heads into the series with Holy Cross at 6-31 overall this season. The Bison are looking for their first Patriot League win of the spring over the Crusaders, which are 7-27 overall and 2-10 in the league.
