UNIVERSITY PARK, PA – The Eisenhower Knights came up short in their quest for a PIAA State Baseball Championship on Friday morning, losing to the Lancaster County Christian School Lions by a score of 8-0.

The Knights earned Silver Medals after their playoff season run to the state championship game at Penn State University’s Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

LANDER, PA – The PIAA State Baseball Championships will be played at Penn State University’s Medlar Field at Lubrano Park today.

One of those teams, the Eisenhower Knights (15-3) will be the first team to win a state title from District 10, since the tournament play format was started in 1977.

The Knights will face Lancaster County Christian Lions (22-4) at 9:30am. The game originally scheduled for a 1:00pm start. The game will be shown LIVE on PCN (Pennsylvania Cable Network, check local listings for channel position).

Other than Iroquois, Harbor Creek and Corry High Schools, no other District 10 school has appeared in a state tournament title game.
